The Embroiderers’ Guild

The Embroiderers’ Guild is a national charity dedicated to educating people of all ages about the world of embroidery – from the sheer pleasure of stitching to the design, creativity and production of unique inspirational works.

Kerry Mosley

Woven Explorations: A new body of work exploring weave through the use of traditional and non-traditional materials. Kerry will be demonstrating the basic techniques she uses and there will be an opportunity to give these a go yourself.

Rachel Singleton

Mixed media and textile artist. Working with layered fabrics, papers and media to create complex surfaces and one-off pieces or small series. Inspiration is taken from natural objects and more recently stone as an on-going theme. 

Lorna Bateman

Lorna Bateman is a designer of creative and textured, hand embroidery kits, curated and designed for stitchers of all levels. She is also the author of the book – Embroidered Country Gardens, published in both English and French.

Tina Francis

Hand stitch with a modern twist. Tina Francis brings fun, colour and design pizazz to stitch kits featuring bargello, tapestry needlepoint and canvas work. Author of the best selling book Modern Bargello.

Tilly Rose

A mixed-media textile artist, designer, author and tutor based in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Tilly loves being able to breathe new life into something old and pre-loved, turning it into something beautiful again. Her work involves layering, mixed media collage, surface stitching and embellishing. She holds workshops throughout the UK and is a guest presenter on craft TV.

Wendy Dolan

Wendy is a Sussex based textile artist and tutor. Inspired by the landscape, natural forms and architecture she combines techniques, creating richly textured surfaces. Author of “Layer, Paint and Stitch” Wendy offers courses and lectures to groups and organisations.
