Golden Threads By Stacey Chapman

Created in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, Stacey working together with Janome aims to inspire and delight with her giant stitched portraiture. Commenced prior to the passing of Her Majesty, Stacey has challenged herself to explore new ways of working using experimental stitch techniques.

MAKE A MINI FLORAL WEAVING – Kerry Mosley – 12.15

Create a nature-inspired woven piece incorporating dried flowers and grasses to take home and frame.

Your kit will include a weaving card, needle, enough threads for a small hanging and a few dried flowers or grasses. The weaving card and needle are yours to keep for use again and again.

Advisory Note:

Suitable for all abilities, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Traverse

Traverse is a group of textile artists, working with varied styles, mediums and techniques. Their name evolved from looking or moving sideways, finding different perspectives, and they are currently exploring a new theme ‘Between the Lines’ in felt, paint, print, metal and stitch.
