Abie is a qualified teacher with over 20 years primary teaching experience. She loves crafting and wants to help others discover this love too. Abie teaches a range of sociable craft workshops, family craft sessions, events and parties across the West Midlands. Darn It! Workshops

NAFAS
NAFAS is an Education Charity, which aims to bring people and flowers together and teach the skills of flower arranging. This is done through local clubs, holding workshops, courses and competitions. Clubs also arrange flower festivals where members are invited to get involved.

The Marquetry Society
The Marquetry Society is the foremost organisation promoting the art and craft of marquetry. Members will be displaying a range of marquetry pictures, from simple beginner’s work to award winning examples. They will be demonstrating the techniques used to make them and offer a free beginner’s course at their club venue to all show visitors.

Connected by Thread is an art quilt group based in west Cumbria. Each year the group makes a piece of work inspired by a set title. The title for 2022/23 was “What A Wonderful World - or is it?” This was broadly interpreted in three ways:
1. What a wonderful world.
2. The song.
Focusing on the “or is it” part of the title. Each piece is 24” wide x 40” long.
