Make your own brightly coloured aluminium pendant. You will learn how to saw and prepare the metal, then taught the techniques for drawing and ink stamping your designs. After completing your design you will set the colours into the metal so the design is permanent (this takes an hour and a half). You can collect your designs from the Leicestershire Craft Centre stand before you go home. You will cut one pendant yourself and have a further two to decorate. Suitable for 10 years and over.
In this workshop you will make a beautiful Suncatcher to hang in your window or garden. You will be taught how to cut your glass to create your design and shown how to put it together, ready to be fired.
Please note: Your glass fusion will be taken away at the end of the class to be fired in a glass kiln and returned to you by post. Price incudes firing and P&P.
While every precaution will be taken to ensure your piece comes back to you safely, firing is a process that can have unexpected outcomes and we cannot be held responsible should your piece crack during the process.
