Shree is a Textile Designer and Art Workshop leader who is passionate about teaching and connecting to the creative world. Shree’s background includes a MA degree in Textile Design from the National Institute of Design in India. This spring Shree will be demonstrating Lippan Kaam, a type of mud and mirror handicraft from the Rajasthan and Gujaret desert regions. Lippan literally means ‘to apply’, and many homes in these regions are decorated with camels, birds, trees, blooms, peacocks, and other nature-inspired motifs, as a creative expression to bring harmony into the home.
