Hitomezashi (one stitch sashiko) can be stitched on a fabric with a grid of dots – it looks a bit like journalling paper! Learn an easy pattern to stitch and get more ideas for using this handy fabric. Suitable for sashiko beginners.

All materials provided for you to stitch a 10cm sashiko coaster panel – 5mm dot sashiko fabric square, sashiko needle and sashiko thread, all genuine Olympus sashiko products from Japan – plus an extra piece of fabric to have another go at home.

Suitable for sashiko beginners to advanced – anyone who wants to try stitching ‘dot to dot’. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
